Hey everyone,

Beck i agree with you that the "speeding- no one thinks big of you" add campaign is a very effective one. I think it targets the right audience too, being young males. It illustates that when young men speed, they not only do not impress the girls, they dont impress their male mates either. A fantastic lesson to be taught! Hopefully aiding in an attitude and behaviour change.

I am thinking about doing the blog topic "stereotypes". I think it is very important to understand the origins of stereotypes, esspecially negative ones. Because I believe only after one understands where and how stereotypes are formed can one begin to challenge these stereotypes. Any thoughts on the topic?

Clare.

most young men i have ever known speed for the same reason they skydive, ride motorbikes, skate, snowboard and take drugs. it's fun. interesting that you would talk about stereotypes though.
